Fixed costs = rent + salaries + other monthly overheads. These are paid regardless of how many sessions happen.
Contribution per session = session fee − variable cost per session (consumables, materials, per-session therapist incentive, payment gateway charges).
Break-even sessions = fixed costs ÷ contribution per session.
If therapists are on fixed salaries, put their pay in salaries and leave variable cost near zero. If they are paid per session, put that rate in variable cost instead — counting it in both places will overstate your break-even badly.
