Centre Capacity Planner

Your centre has a hard ceiling — set by whichever runs out first, rooms or therapists. Hiring against a room shortage, or renting space against a therapist shortage, is the most expensive mistake a growing centre makes.

How this is worked out

Slot length = session length + turnaround. Turnaround is the gap for notes, cleaning and the next child settling in. Leaving it out overstates capacity by roughly a fifth.

Room capacity = rooms × slots per room per day × days open.

Therapist capacity = therapists × slots each can take per day × days open.

Your real ceiling is the lower of the two. The gap between them is capacity you are paying for and cannot use.

This is a physical maximum, not a target. Nobody runs at 100% — see the utilisation calculator for what a realistic band looks like.

TheraFlow tracks all of this for you, every day.

This calculator gives you a snapshot. TheraFlow gives you the live number — utilisation, no-shows, expiring packages and unbilled sessions, updated as your centre runs.
