Progress Report Generator

Term reports get rewritten from scratch every time because nobody keeps the structure. This turns attendance, goal numbers and a few observations into a report a parent can follow or a school can act on — with the attendance caveat stated honestly rather than buried.

THERAPY PROGRESS REPORT
Speech & language therapy — April – June 2026
Prepared for: Parent / guardian

ATTENDANCE
31 of 36 scheduled sessions attended (86%).
5 sessions were missed. Attendance has been consistent enough to expect steady gains.

GOALS AND PROGRESS

1. Two-word requesting
Start of period: 30% Now: 75%
   Strong progress over the period.

2. Following two-step instructions
Start of period: 20% Now: 45%
   Steady progress over the period.

WHAT IS GOING WELL
Responds well to visual supports and turn-taking games.

WHAT REMAINS DIFFICULT
Generalising new words outside the therapy room remains inconsistent.

PLAN FOR THE NEXT PERIOD
Fade visual supports on requesting; extend two-step instructions into classroom routines.

How this is worked out

Attendance is stated first, on purpose. Progress figures mean very little at 60% attendance, and saying so protects both the child and your centre.

Goals are shown as start versus now. A single current number tells a parent nothing — the movement is the report.

The school version adds a classroom-supports section and explicitly defers to the school's own assessment, which keeps you inside your remit.

Generated in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Read it through before sending; the wording is a starting point, not a substitute for your own clinical judgement.

TheraFlow tracks all of this for you, every day.

This calculator gives you a snapshot. TheraFlow gives you the live number — utilisation, no-shows, expiring packages and unbilled sessions, updated as your centre runs.
