How this is worked out

Bookable slots = therapists × working days × slots per therapist per day.

Utilisation = sessions delivered ÷ bookable slots.

Idle value = unused slots × your average session fee. This is an opportunity figure, not a loss — you would still need the demand to fill those slots.

Most multi-therapist centres settle between 75% and 85% once scheduling is tight. Below about 65%, the bottleneck is usually intake or rescheduling rather than demand.
